+ PEPTIDE :: Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5

Peptides are short strings of amino acids that are custom designed to accomplish specific actions. Clinical trials have shown that Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 is capable of significantly reducing the visibility of wrinkles, in addition to skin firming and moisturizing properties. The efficacy and safety of this peptide has been proven in clinical trials, and helps make CELSUS a powerful Anti Aging Wrinkle Cream.

+ TAMANU OIL :: Calophyllum inophyllum

Certified Organic. Tamanu oil has been clinically proven to possess a remarkable capacity to improve the appearance of scars. BioScience Laboratories conducted a study of Tamanu oil’s ability to improve the appearance of scars. There was significant improvement after six weeks, and improvement continued through week nine: scar length visibility was reduced by an average 0.28 centimeters, and width was reduced by an average 0.12 centimeters.

+ COTTON THISTLE :: Onopodum acanthium

Certified Organic. Cotton Thistle has been clinically proven to help support the natural repair processes in damaged skin. Over the last two decades, through numerous studies, the clinical evidence has mounted that topical application of Aloe extracts have repeatedly been demonstrated to have significant ability to reduce the appearance of scarring. Because its pH is similar to that of human skin it is extremely soothing and protective, and also very effective in replenishing lost moisture.

+ GOTU KOLA :: Centella asiatica

Certified Organic. A powerful antioxidant rich in vitamins A, B, E, & K, Gotu Kola has been proven in numerous clinical studies to be a potent scar treatment that helps to inhibit scar formation (including keloids and hypertrophic scars), to hasten the healing of wounds, and to help repair the skin. According to pharmacological studies, one outcome of gotu kola’s complex actions is a balanced effect on cells and tissues participating in the process of healing, particularly connective tissues. It is also said to alleviate itching and redness, and has been studied for anti-cancer applications.

+ CALENDULA FLOWERS :: Calendula officinalis

Certified Organic. Plant pharmacological studies have suggested that Calendula extracts have anti-viral, anti-genotoxic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-oxidant properties. Clinical studies have also shown that Calendula speeds the healing of wounds, making the skin more supple by helping to increase blood supply to it.

+ COMFREY LEAVES :: Symphytum officinale

Certified Organic. Also known as ‘Healherb’ or ‘Woundwort’, Comfrey has a long history of being used as a herbal remedy. A recent clinical trial concluded that Comfrey “can be attributed distinct wound healing effects”. Comfrey should not be used on open wounds.

+ HELICHRYSIM OIL :: Helichrysim italicum

Certified Organic. It is the only essential oil found to contain certain di-ketones, which support wound healing and scar reduction. The triple unsaturated fatty acids strengthen the cell membranes and, combined with its regenerative qualities, can heal wounds with little or no scarring.

+ ONION BULB EXTRACT :: Allium Cepa

Certified Organic. Onion bulb extract is said to contain anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients such as quercetin. A clinical study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology showed onion extract gel improved the softness, redness, texture and global appearance of postsurgical scars.

+ COENZYME Q10 :: Ubiquinone

Coenzyme Q10 has been the subject of important research for the past 30 years. This nutrient is said to play a role in the body’s production of adenosine triphosphate, the basic energy component of the cell. It is also said to be an anti-oxidant that helps boost cellular renewal and encourage the repair of damaged skin cells.

+ EVENING PRIMROSE OIL :: Oenothera biennis

Certified Organic. The mature seeds contain approximately 7-10% gamma-linolenic acid, a rare essential fatty acid. The oil is said to be beneficial to the skin, easing bruises and helping to speed wound healing.

It also has anti-inflammatory properties that soothe damaged skin.

+ ALLANTOIN

Effective for rapid cell regeneration and for skin and scar tissue softening. Allantoin is a leucocytosis promoter (increases white blood cells) that helps to establish immunity from many infectious conditions. It is also produced in the allantois gland of the human umbilical cord for promoting rapid cell growth in the embryo, and is abundant in Mothers’ milk.
